ONE,TWO, THREE, HERE. ONE, TWO, THREE Here, exactly here, in this point, like a deep thud in the stomach. Bum and the sound begins to spin, slow, rhythmic, swirling, cathartic. The song opens and the vision, for a second, is captured in a still image, on two large spheres, bu-bum, the heart wants what the heart wants! SUB! SUB!... and all starts to spin again.
Free your body/ I say, free your mind
The artwork is built on a series of suggestions, coincidences, reflections and guesswork that Carlo De Meo summarises, in a sort of creative automatism, settling on a Guido Reni artwork and accompained by the 99 Posse’s track. All this factors intertwine giving form to a new subject extrapolated from the bodies of Atalanta and Ippomene and defined in the action by the rythmic interferences and narratives of SUB, which from being the title of the song begins to speak in the artwork through the words: fastly, here and right now (subito, adesso e ora).
The body parts mix together, legs rise and become arms, the apples moltiplicates and dilate, assuming the shape of a spiralling dance contaminated by the metafisic skyblue. The rythm of the song takes shape in the circulatory movement of the character, an estatic loop addictionaly marked in a red hatching, which, starting from ONE, TWO, THREE ends where the word HERE is located
In the while time the face of Carlo(maybe), painted like a silhouette in the darkness, acts as a balance.
